Wow - I knew fatherhood would be a lot of work. But until you're in the middle of your three-week-old's fourth crying fit of the evening at 4:30 AM on a work night, you're never quite prepared for parenthood in all its, um, glory.

Of course, my work is suffering, as is my gaming (but not as much as my work… Smile). That's because no matter what, gaming is and will always be my passion. So even though the hours have become minutes, I've still been able to squeeze in some review time for the four titles on my plate.

Other than that, though, there's simply zero free time. If it weren't for that train ride and occasional treadmill, I'd probably be losing my mind.

So yes, I am alive, if sleep-deprived, grumpy, and desperately wishing for my boy to sleep just… another… hour. Soon enough, life will be back to normal. Until then, though, it'll be a fight for every free moment.

Hot on the heels of the Wal-Mart and Toys 'R Us fliers revealing a possible $50 price drop on the Premium 360, comes a Circuit City flier that answers the important question: What about the Elite and the Core?

Way to keep things simple Microsoft. The people who brought you five different versions of Windows Vista now present the staggered price drop.

The Core, with only $20 excised from it's price, is even less of a value compared to the Premium than it already was, and since the Elite is only seeing a $30 drop it is $100 more expensive than the Premium instead of just $80 as it was previously.

Rumors have been swirling about a possible Xbox 360 price drop ever since Sony's pre-E3 PS3 price drop. Yesterday, the rumors got a shot of adrenaline when CheapAssGamer user DX posted the following image, depicting a $349 Xbox 360 Premium, on the CAG forums:

There are, however, a couple of inconsistencies in the image that set off some people's fake-detectors:

It's that time of the month again.  No, I'm not talking about the time when The Succubus gets moody and whines that I drink too much.  I'm referring to monthly sales figures from The NPD Group.

These reports are always a great source of entertainment.  Sure, they do a good job of keeping all interested parties informed of recent sales trends.  More importantly, however, this data always manages to get the most rabid of fanboys riled up on gaming sites.  Those who own the current top-selling console preen as if they actually helped engineer the fucking thing.  Those who own any other console wildly proclaim that the company responsible for said console is going to go belly-up any day now, its owners are flaming homosexuals, and their console is teh roxors.
