LOL. What can I say — some of us don’t accept defeat too well. :p

PS3IGN has released new footage of Crtierion’s highly anticipated supercharged racer, Burnout 5: Paradise coming to the PS3 (and 360 this Winter). While this is only a teaser trailer, it does give us a good glimpse of what to expect in the visual eye candy department. You can bet that many of us here at GotNext will be picking this up on Day One of its release later this fall. I should probably start dusting off my Revenge disc to keep my skills intact.

In any case, here’s the footage. Enjoy! (Thanks to GN forum member YankeeH8er for bringing this to our attention). :)

Rockstar Games has been teasing us for weeks, and today we finally got to 2nd base. The teaser trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV went live just hours ago, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the first next-gen version of Grand Theft Auto. The graphics have drastically improved, which means we can say goodbye to mitten hands. It’s looking very promising so far. GameTrailers.com couldn’t have worse timing being down at the moment. The teaser trailer comes to you courtesy of GameVideos.com.

At last week’s Game Developers’ Conference, one of the earlier presentations was from Jeff Minter. It was a one hour talk about the history of Llamasoft, the art of games creation, and Space Giraffe. Now it’s up on Google video, available in full for anyone who wants to see.

If you’ve got the spare time and interest, check it out here. In addition to being an enjoyably candid talk, it also shows how low-key and informal these presentations can be.

Travis tells me it’s a homebrew doujin game, but shoot — that’s gotta be one of the coolest homebrew looking fighters I’ve come across in a LONG time. Sup MUGEN!
