GotSpace has been running for just over a year and now, we’re reaching out to bring on some fresh new writing talent. We know a lot of you LOVE blogging. Well, if you enjoy writing about games, anime and technology - we want to hear from you!

We’re looking to bring on 4 new editors to take on one or more of the aforementioned genres and write for our blog section, GotSpace. Our objective is to go beyond the press releases and present the information in a casual, conversational style that will appeal to a broad audience. The positions are non-paid, however it’s an excellent opportunity for anyone who’s been awaiting the chance to get some valuable first-time exposure or merely to expand their horizons with a new outlet. In any event, if you’re interested — read on to see what we’re looking for:

Requirements:

• Persons with a strong passion for video games, film & TV, anime or technology.
• Unique creative writing talent.
• Self-motivated to blog often.
• Self-vigilant about copy-editing.
• Has a quirky and/or healthy sense of humor.
• Has the ability to meet deadlines, whenever applicable.
• Possess a strong personality which will distinguish their work from others.

Key Tools:

• PC with a reliable desktop or laptop with reliable internet access.
• Basic or intermediate knowledge of HTML and Photoshop
• Accessible by email as well as Instant Messenger (AIM and/or Yahoo)

• Number of consoles you own and your entertainment interests (i.e. film, tech, etc.)
• A short explanation why you should be selected for the position.
• Writing samples (no more than 3 or 4 please).
• Any valid published references in print or online.
