I saw the Paramount screening of Nacho Libre downtown Saturday night with several friends and wow, is it ever awesome. I haven’t laughed that hard at the theaters since Anchorman (which also, rules).
Who else saw it? It had too many funny parts for me to remember right now.

I haven’t gone to the movies in forever…the last few times the experience has been atrocious, with people on their cellphones, filthy theaters, and general lack of quality movies. I’d rather stay home and play a game or watch it on DVD any day. Maybe this summer I’ll see something….but probably not.

The sad part is that the press and rather elitist friends have been saying they hated or found Nacho Libre stupid. This is right up Napoleon Dynamite fans’ alley, so saying its rather foolish instead of acknowledging it for what it is is pure contradiction. It rocked!
