GotNext is looking for a talented contributing editor to assist with a new retro section. The qualified editor would be open to writing reviews for multiple platforms spanning anything from the NES to PSOne era. This position is perfect for anyone who has a genuine interest for classic gaming and is looking for an opportunity to express their creative input.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing and communication skills, have a thorough knowledge of the gaming industry (past and present) and be dedicated to making GotNext’s retro section one of the most resourceful destinations on the net.
Duties: The Editor will be responsible for publishing a minimum of 3 to 5 classic articles a month and will represent the designate voice of the retro department. HTML knowledge is not required, but helpful. Willing to train the right candidate looking to expand their responsibilities to include general site publishing and mainteneance. general day-to-day writing and publishing duties on the site, and are the voices of the channel they work for. Daily tasks include the writing of comprehensive strategy guides for games across all platforms, as well as HTML layout of guides and general site publishing and maintenance. Although this is a non-paying position, your contributions will be compensated with other perks and opportunities. Additional duties may require occasional travel for industry events.
