Free wireless access at airports is so rare these days that I just had to take the opportunity to post a quick blog. Lots has been going on in my life these days - mostly bad, a little good - and all I can say is that I can’t wait until the calendar turns to September and my schedule goes back to normal.

As of this moment, I am sitting in an airport in Ohio waiting for a flight back home. I was here for work, and the flight was cancelled. I was supposed to head to Atlantic City tonight to catch Tesla, but that ain’t happening. Last week I was in Atlanta because of an unexpected family tragedy (no need to go into details, suffice to say if you smoke I urge you to quit…now!…because dying young is the worst thing ever). Next week I head to Ft. Myers, Florida to spend some more quality time with the family.

And, oh yeah, while I was a way last week my small company got bought by a ginormous multi-billon dollar corporation. Yeesh.

Long story short, it’s been a brutal month of travel and exhaustion. But once Labor Day hits, there’s no more of this crazy schedule and I can get back to a happy groove of working, exercising, and gaming.

On the gaming front, I actually purchased two Maddens this week - one for the PSP (all this traveling!) and one for the 360. I did not get any of the Madden games last year, so I am just making up for lost time. I know, I know, I am an NFL whore, but I love football and EA won’t let anyone else make a game anymore so there’s really no choice. I’ve heard the 360 is not an affront to the world like last year’s rushed and godawful 360 debut was. Man, I hope so.

Since I won’t actually get to play it until September 3rd, I guess there was no reason to buy it, other than I wanted to have it.
