Travis tells me it’s a homebrew doujin game, but shoot — that’s gotta be one of the coolest homebrew looking fighters I’ve come across in a LONG time. Sup MUGEN!

Not mugen, but their own engine I’m sure. It might be a doujin title, but its going to be sold instead of just given away. There’s a substantial doujin fighter scene in Japan that’s been going on since like ‘95, and it keeps getting more developed. Melty Blood is a doujin and it’s gotten both arcade and PS2 releases. Good game too, though very combo heavy.

Looks really awesome. I’d love to see a game like this or Melty Blood hit the Xbox arcade with online, we could definitely use some fun 2D fighters with online…
