MLG event kicks off this weekend in Boston
The question is, do you have what it takes?

Listen up Boston gamers, Major League Gaming is coming to your home state this weekend. This will be the first MLG event of its kind hosted in the New England area, and the last competition before the 2004 championships invitational in New York.

As previously reported, the event will be presented by Gamestop and Nokia N-Gage. On-site registration begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and kicks off at 10:00 a.m. daily on Saturday and Sunday. Participants will be competiting in Halo, Gran Turismo 3, Super Smash Brothers Melee, Soul Calibur 2, and the N-Gage edition of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

The MLG event will be hosted at the following address:

200 Mount Vernon Street / Columbia Point
Boston, MA 02125

On a related note, 13-year MLG pro player Bonnie "Xena" Burton, the highest ranking female Halo player in the nation will be making an in-store appearance at Gamestop store #0649 - Hillside Plaza in Saugas, MA. Bonnie will sign autographs, take pictures and compete against challengers in the Halo video game. She is available for press interviews.
