Eidos signs on with Avalanche Studios
And they've already got a game underway.

Eidos signed a development deal with Swedish based Avalanche Studios, announced earlier today. Avalanche Studios specialises in the creation of innovative game concepts using its cutting edge proprietary technology. Currently, the company is working on a new action game entitled Just Cause, scheduled to be release next year for the PC, Xbox and PlayStation 2 platforms.

No gameplay details have been revealed at this time, but we'll keep you posted once information becomes available.
