Atari announced today that it's partnered with Spark Unlimited for worldwide publishing rights for all media of upcoming titles developed by the creative team. Spark Unlimited is most recently known for their remarkable work on the hit title Call of Duty: Finest Hour. Under the new long-term agreement, Atari will essentially tap into Spark Unlimited's talent pool for upcoming digital entertainment projects.
The first joint project currently under development, which we unfortunately have little details about is said to be in development for the next generation of consoles. Today's announcement also notes that the project will include full multi-media potential which can include film, televesion and consumer products. More details are planned to be unveiled later this spring, with an anticipated launch during the 2006 holiday season.
